Most people try to lose weight by restricting food intake and eating healthy. But why do they need to lose weight in the first place? If you don't fix THAT, you are doomed to failure. This is a checklist of the specific skills needed to fix the underlying reasons you are gaining weight. With those fixed, you have a fighting chance of permanently changing your eating habits and possibly some weight loss.

Remember, weight is 70% genetic (often my clients are fighting their genes, a true losing battle). Also, focusing on weight can make you feel bad, which can then result in overeating to fix the bad feelings. So be cautious any time you deal with your weight.
